| AS OF THIS DATE (AUG-03"), THE MARS BILL ACCEPTORS HAVE PROVEN TO BE THE SAFEST OF THE "FREE-STANDING" ACCEPTORS IN COMMON USE AGAINST "STRINGING". There is no guarantee how
long this situation will remain true; but as of today- the MARS is the safest bet for many unattended laundry and car wash applications. The kits below have been developed to retrofit the MARS acceptors into many common applications which may benefit
from their improved security and high bill acceptance levels. The MARS acceptors can be programmed to accept bills in 1 or 2 ways- face up; or 4-way acceptance (face-up or face-down). The kits are designed to use the existing bill acceptor opening in the
machine; no grinding or torching new holes. Some kits DO require the drilling of 2 mounting holes in the machine front. Kits come with full instructions, wire harness adaptors as required, new mounting brackets as needed, bill insertion decals, and peace of mind after installation. These kits actually disable the acceptor as intended by the main control board; not like some of the factory kits. |
